A 3 day blind draw $ event that encompasses Volleyball, Golf, lots of fun.....& maybe a bit o drink!! This is an event that has been in California for awhile & we are bringing it to the PNW!! Let's show 'em how to do it!!
ok here's how it works.....
THE BASICS:
A Blind Draw event consisting of a volleyball & golf portion (& a bit o drinking) where you rate your self as Volleyball player, Golfer & Athlete and then get placed on a team with an "overall" ranking of one A, B, C & D player per team.
FRI: Team draws & Team auction
SAT: Volleyball quad's tourney
SUN: Golf best ball tourney
COST: $105/person
This is a limited entry tournament so please RSVP early!! pre-registration is A MUST!!!

golf fees w/cart for every 2 players
volleyball tournament
t-shirt
shot @ Grand Central Bowl @ 12pm Sat for those present

THE DETAILS:
FRI, SEPT. 16TH,9PM SHARP @ Main Event Sports Grill, 800 Main Street, VANCOUVER, WA 98660:
This is where teams are announced from our pool of registrars.
Each team is a blind draw consisting of an "A", "B", "C" & "D" player (determined by commitee from registration questionaires & a draw).
Your "team", TBD, will get 1pt for each player that is actually present @ 9pm for the team drawings!! You are highly encouraged to show up for this as these points may be the difference between winning & losing teams!!
Once a team is announced bidding will begin IMMEDIATELY!! Anyone may bid on a team that they think will be the winner (all present will receive player bio sheets before teams are announced {outside "owners" are welcome})!! Once bidding is done on a team, the next team will be announced and so on. "Owners" of the tournament champions will receive a percentage of total bid dollars for the tournament!
ex: 16 teams each with $100 "owners" = $1600
1st place "owner" gets 50%= $800
2nd place "owner" gets 30%= $480
3rd place "owner" gets 20%= $320
anyone can be an "Owner" !! Encourage friends to come get in on the bidding fun!!
(prizes $ & breakdown TBD by # of teams registered...and "ownership" dollars)
SAT, SEPT 17TH, 9AM AT WOKS UP, GRESHAM, OR:
Volleyball portion of the tournament.
Quads in the sand.
Pool Play consisting of 4 pools of 4 (2 games to 11)
followed by single elimination playoffs (1 game to 15).
Old school rules.
Each team get 4 "mulligans" (do-overs) to use whenever they would like throughout the tournament.
Each team gets points for its placing in the tournament ...
ex: 16pts for 1st, 15pts for 2nd ....down to 1 pt for 16th place.
9PM SAT NIGHT @ GRAND CENTRAL BOWL, PORTLAND, OR:
receive 4 extra points for getting your WHOLE team to check in!! you ONLY get points if EVERY member of your team shows up @9pm!!
@11pm...if EVERY member of your team is there you receive an additional 4 points.
@12 pm you will receive a point/player for a shot done at the bar (paid for by VDD...1 shot per player only)
These points COULD be the DIFFERENCE MAKERS in the tourney!!
SUN, SEPT. 17TH, 1:15 @ TRI-MT GOLF COURSE, RIDGEFIELD, WA:
Golf portion of the tournament.
SHOT GUN START!!! (4 pts docked for late teams!!!) MUST HAVE COMPLETE CLUB SETS & GOLF BALLS! (rentals @ discounted rate will be avail at course)
This is a best-ball scramble with some trick/fun/challenge holes along the way. (ex: 18" club hole, cue stick green hole, yucca shot hole, blindfold hole, etc, etc...)
Again...points are assinged by team finish.
PAYOUTS:
teams 1st-3rd!!
