I know that competing in any or all Pacific Northwest Outdoor Volleyball Association tournaments involves a certain element of risk. I should not enter and compete unless I am medically able and in good condition. I agree to assume all risks of participating in this event including but not limited to the condition of the playing surface, contact with other competitor or spectators, and the effects of extreme temperature and/or humidity. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I hereby release and discharge Pacific Northwest Outdoor Volleyball Association (PacNova), Jay Sjögren, event officials, volunteers, and any and all sponsors, suppliers, agents, independent contractors, employees, and any other personnel in any way assisting or connected with this PacNova event even though the liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I also understand and agree that any sponsor may subsequently use for publicity or promotional purposes, my name or pictures of me participating in this or any PacNova event without liability or obligation to me. Entries from minors will be accepted only with parent or legal guardian's signature.
If parent signs for a minor, then in consideration of the persons named above allowing my child to play, the below signed agrees to hold the above named harmless from any and all claims of liability made by the child after the said child becomes an adult. I agree to inspect the playing surface or field and equipment before I play each game and agree to be personally responsible to insure that the field and equipment is properly secured, in good working order, and reasonably safe before I participate.
